MANHATTAN ENSEMBLE THEATER
A New Face, A Renovated Space

55 Mercer Street, once known as Synchronicity Space, has been
completely remodeled and modernized. The brand new Off-Broadway
Manhattan Ensemble Theater, home to a namesake
theater company, was unveiled to the public with their inaugural
       production of Dostoyevsky's THE IDIOT.

       The Mission:
"M.E.T. is New York City's only stage company devoted to producing
world premiere adaptations of classic novels and other works of
literature. In a season of 3 plays... M.E.T. provides a home for the
ongoing development of the dramatization as a literary form in
American theater. M.E.T. hopes to provide a place where
theatergoers can experience riveting, emotionally cathartic and
narratively epic theater: dramatic qualities innate to the original
       source material."
