IN THE RING is
set in a “boxing ring” where two actors set up shop to act out relationships
between men and women - whether just friends, strangers, lovers, spouses or
divorcees.
Each relationship brings out the best and worst when a man and
woman fight for their own ground, and try to coexist … or not. Much is lost in
translation as they try to understand one another.
The first relationship is between Adam and Eve. Eve decides there is no point in procreating since their children would incestuously create a degenerate society. The many scenarios that follow, marked by several changes of clothing, show the degenerate nature of modern relationships between men and women.
