Ever wonder how the hot dog came about? Well, Michael Quinn will be glad to tell you in his one-man show FELTMAN: WORLD’S FIRST HOT DOG. The story begins with a German immigrant, Charles Feltman, who created what later became the hot dog and triumphed as the perfect Coney Island beach food. Although its popularity extended far and wide, the thriving business eventually petered out. I will let Quinn tell you about his connection to Feltman and how he resurrected the beloved hot dog. And he will do this with a New York accent, an Irish brogue, and a bit of German. His enthusiastic storytelling is infused with research and respect, as well as lots of humor. History has never been so much fun!
